NOTIFICATION
Take notice that the public comment period for the below referenced project will begin on June 3, 2026 and will continue for a period of thirty (30) calendar days ending July 3, 2026 pursuant to N.J.A.C 7:7-24.4. A brief description of the proposed development follows.

Project Name: South Jersey Gas – Reeds Beach Rd – 2″ & 4″ Gas Pipeline Extensions
Project Description:
South Jersey Gas is proposing to install new 2″ & 4″ plastic gas pipelines along Reeds Beach Rd & Beach Rd in Middle Township to provide gas service to residential & commercial customers along those roads. It will start just at the intersection of Reeds Beach Rd and North Delsea Dr and run west along Reeds Beach Rd to its intersection with Beach Ave. From that intersection it will run north and south along Beach Ave to the end of that road. The 2″ & 4″ lines will be installed via directional drilling methods and will be located entirely within public road ROW.

The Department of Environmental Protection welcomes any comments and any information that you may provide concerning the proposed development and site. Please submit your written comments within 30 calendar days of the start of the period.
