PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 11th day of June, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. prevailing time, at the Middle Township Municipal Building, located at Boyd & Mechanic Streets, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210, the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing on the application for development of Applicant, William J. Feraco. Applicant seeks all required approvals and relief so as to obtain site plan approval, as well as requested variance relief, pursuant to NJSA 40:55D-70(d)(1) and NJSA 40:55D-70(c)(2) and pursuant to the requirements of Chapter 250-408 of the Middle Township Municipal Code, in order to permit the demolition of the existing commercial building and to permit the construction of a mixed-use warehouse building that will contain an ice-making and ice-vending business along with two (2) residential apartment units. The residential apartment units are proposed to be two-story units existing on both the 1st and 2nd floor of the proposed warehouse building. The specific variance relief sought by the Applicant through this application is as follows: 1) variance to allow two (2) residential apartments to exist on the same floor as the proposed commercial office; 2) variance for minimum required front yard setback; and 3) variance related to minimum required off-street parking spaces. The Applicant also requests any, and all, other variances, approvals, and/or waivers that the Board may deem necessary either prior to or at the time of the hearing on this application.
A copy of the said application and accompanying documents will be on file with Secretary of the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment/Zoning Official and may be inspected, during normal business hours, in the Middle Township Zoning Office, Middle Township Municipal Building, Boyd & Mechanic Streets, Cape May Court House, New Jersey, by all interested parties at least ten (10) days prior to the said hearing. Further, any interested party may appear in person or by attorney at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Middle Township Zoning Board. This notice is being sent pursuant to the requirements of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law.
