PROJECT DESCRIPTIONThe proposed project involves the reconfiguration and construction of new athletic fields, various ball courts, pedestrian walks, a playground, a pavilion consisting of concession, bathrooms, storage, and picnic areas, installation of landscaping and lighting, enhancement of the public safety memorial, and supporting transportation and stormwater infrastructure to renovate and expand the existing recreation facilities on the site. The project is designed within the Cape May Court House CAFRA Regional Center and will result in enhanced public recreational opportunities in this area.

Either a 30-day public comment period or public hearing will be held on the application in the future. Individuals may request a public hearing on the application within 15 calendar days of the date of this notice. Requests for a public hearing shall be sent to the Department at the address below and shall state the specific nature of the issues to be raised at the hearing:
