MIDDLE TOWNSHIP ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons that a public hearing was held during the Thursday, July 9, 2026, meeting of the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment (Board) at which meeting the below-listed application(s) was heard & the following action(s) taken. The Board at its August 13, 2026, meeting has memorialized Application(s):

Rural Conservation (RC) & Business (B) Zoning Districts
(d)(1) and (c)(2) Variance Relief & Minor Site Plan Approval
The Board heard & considered the application of William & Tara Geisel (Applicant), related to real property located at 38 Route 47, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210, which is also identified on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Middle as Block 163.01, Lot 280 (the “Property”), seeking (d)(1) & (c)(2) variance relief pertaining to permitted uses in the zoning districts in which the Property is situated, minimum required off-street parking spaces, and continued validity and approval for all pre-existing non-conforming conditions at the Property, in order to convert the property from a veterinary hospital to an animal boarding and grooming facility. The Applicant also sought, and received, waivers from the following site plan standards of the Township of Middle: waiver from the requirement to submit spot elevations; waiver from the requirement to submit a traffic impact study; waiver from the requirement to submit an environmental impact statement; and waiver from the requirement to submit a community impact statement. The application was approved by the Board with conditions outlined in the application’s Memorializing Resolution.
A Resolution memorializing the Board’s action was adopted at the August 13, 2026, scheduled meeting of the Board. Said decision will be on file & available for inspection in Middle Township Municipal Hall, located at 33 E. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210.
