PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 14th day of May, 2026, at 6:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Middle Township Municipal Building, located at 33 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210, the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing on the application of the undersigned for amended preliminary and final major site plan approval and variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70c for maximum impervious coverage, and any and all other variances and waivers the Board may require in the exercise of its discretion, in order to modify the previously approved marina site plan to permit the placement of a marina support vessel within one of the ten (10) existing conventional marina boat slips along with certain Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements to the subject site. The proposed support vessel will function as an ancillary marina amenity and will contain a small ship’s store, employee area, and a restroom facility for marina patrons and staff. No changes are proposed to the five (5) previously approved houseboat slips. Applicant previously received amended preliminary and final major site plan approval and bulk variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70c in order to permit minor site modifications to the previously approved marina in connection with the reduction of the total number of approved slips from eighteen (18) to fifteen (15), to utilize five (5) boat slips for houseboats, to modify the previously approved boat slip layout, and other site modifications. These approvals are memorialized in Resolution No. 252329, a copy of which is on file with the Middle Township Zoning Board Secretary.
A copy of the said application and accompanying documents will be on file with the Secretary of the Middle Township Planning Board/Zoning Office and may be inspected, during normal business hours, in the Middle Township Zoning Office, Middle Township Municipal Building, 33 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, New Jersey, by all interested parties at least ten (10) days prior to the said hearing. Further, any interested party may appear in person or by attorney at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment. This Notice is sent pursuant to the requirements of the Municipal Land Use Law.
