RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CHANGE ORDER TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH APPALACHIA HYDROGEOLOGIC &
ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTING, LLC

WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (the “City”) entered into a professional services agreement with Appalachia Hydrogeologic & Environmental Consulting, LLC (“Appalachia”) for a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) and other services regarding the closure of a regulated Underground Storage Tank (the “Project”) at the City Municipal Building; and

WHEREAS, Appalachia has provided the City with a change order and cost estimate for Groundwater Remedial Investigation and Remedial Action activities in further performance of the Project and the previously awarded contract; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to authorize the change order in the amount of Eighty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Two ($83,372.00) Dollars; and

WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Wildwood has certified the availability of funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That the provisions of the above preamble of this Resolution are hereby incorporated by reference as if set forth at length.

2. That the Board of Commissioners hereby approves a change order to the professional services agreement with Appalachia Hydrogeologic & Environmental Consulting, LLC, 678 Route 202 – Unit 4, Bridgewater, NJ 08807 as more specifically set forth on the proposal as Exhibit “A”, annexed hereto and incorporated by reference herein, to include an increase in the amount of Eighty-Three Thousand Three Hundred Seventy-Two ($83,372.00) Dollars.

3. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to take any and all other actions necessary to effectuate the purposes of this Resolution.

4. That this Resolution shall be published according to law.
