RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT TO DEBLASIO & ASSOCIATES FOR OUTBOUND SURVEY AND PREPARATION OF VARIANCE APPLICATION FOR MIDDLE TOWNSHIP PLANNING/ZONING BOARDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE AT 975 ROUTE 47 SOUTH PUMP STATION PROJECT W-U-024
WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (“the City”), has a need to install a fence to secure the Pump Station Property at 975 Route 47 South, Middle Township, which require the preparation of an outbound survey and variance application to be presented to the Middle Township Planning/Zoning Boards; and
WHEREAS, the City received a proposal from DeBlasio & Associates dated January 12, 2026 (hereinafter “DeBlasio”), annexed hereto and incorporated by reference herein, to provide Professional Land Survey Services and preparation of a variance application to be presented to the Middle Township Planning/Zoning Boards; and
WHEREAS, the City has a need to acquire such professional engineering services as a Non-fair and Open Contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Professional Services Contract with DeBlasio for Professional Land Survey Services and preparation of a variance application to be presented to the Middle Township Planning/Zoning Board for an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($7,500.00); and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified as to the availability of funds; and
WHEREAS, it is incumbent upon DeBlasio to submit a Business Entity Disclosure Certification which certifies that the contract has not made any reportable contributions to a political or candidate committee in the City of Wildwood in the previous one year, and that the contract will prohibit the contractor from making any reportable contributions through the term of the contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That the provisions of the above preamble of this Resolution are hereby incorporated herein, by this reference, as if set forth at length.
2. That the contract is hereby awarded to DeBlasio & Associates of Wildwood, NJ for Professional Land Survey Services and preparation of a variance application to be presented to the Middle Township Planning/Zoning Board as provided in Exhibit “A”, incorporated by reference herein, for an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Five Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($7,500.00).
3. That the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and the Political Contribution Disclosure Form be placed on file with the Resolution, and that this resolution be published according to law.
4. That all appropriate municipal officials of the City of Wildwood are hereby authorized, empowered, and directed to undertake the necessary actions to further the execution of said contract.
