RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR SYSTEM SOFTWARE AND CLOUD HOSTING SERVICES WITH EDMUNDS GOVTECH
WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood is in need of Financial, Licensing and Utility System Software and Cloud Hosting services in 2026; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to enter into a contract with Edmunds GovTech.; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Wildwood has certified that there are sufficient funds in the Current Fund Utilities: Information Technology Management account (6-01-xx-325-327) and City Clerk’s Other Services account (6-01-xx-111-240); Water Operating Fund: Other Expenses: Other Services account (6-03-xx-001-240); and Sewer Operating Fund: Other Expenses: Other Services account (6-05-xx-001-240) to retain the services of Edmunds GovTech; and
WHEREAS, the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, et seq.) requires that the resolution authorizing the award of contracts for “Professional Services and Unspecified Services” without competitive bids must be publicly advertised and the contract itself must be available for public inspection; and
WHEREAS, that the Business Disclosure Entity Certification and the Determination of Value be placed on file with this resolution; and
WHEREAS, that if Affirmative Action Language be required and/or Business Registration Certificates be required, they be attached as addendums herein.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood in the County of Cape May, New Jersey hereby enters into an agreement and contracts with Edmunds GovTech of Northfield, NJ for 2026 Financial System and Utility Software and Cloud Hosting services, not to exceed Thirty-Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-Seven dollars and 87/100 ($38,877.87).
