Take notice that the public comment period for the below referenced project will begin on October 21, 2026 and will continue for a period of thirty (30) calendar days ending November 20, 2026 pursuant to N.J.A.C 7:7-24.4. A brief description of the proposed development follows.

Project Description:
South Jersey Gas is proposing to install new 2″ plastic gas distribution pipeline along Clubhouse Rd, Bay Dr and Mallow Rd in Lower Township to provide gas service to residential and commercial customers along those roads.

The complete permit application package can be reviewed at either the municipal clerk’s office in the municipality in which the site subject to the application is located or by appointment at the Department’s Trenton Office. In addition, an electronic copy of the initial application can be provided via an OPRA request by contacting https://www.nj.gov/dep/opra/opraform.html from the Departments Trenton Office. The Department of Environmental Protection welcomes any comments and any information that you may provide concerning the proposed development and site. Please submit your written comments within 30 calendar days of the start of the period.
