Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Wildwood Crest on September 23, 2026 and passed on first reading, and the same was then ordered to be published according to law; and that such ordinance will be further considered for final passage at a meeting of the Board of Commissioners to be held at the Borough Hall in said Borough on October 7, 2026 at 9:30 A.M. prevailing time, or as soon thereafter as possible, at which time and place all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard concerning such ordinance.

ORDINANCE NO. 1499
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CHAPTER 56, OF THE CODE OF THE BOROUGH OF WILDWOOD CREST, ENTITLED RECREATION COMMISSION, SECTION 56-3, APPROVING AND CONFIRMING RATES AND FEES FOR THE RENTAL OF FACILITIES, PARTICIPATION IN CERTAIN EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, the Borough Commissioners of the Borough of Wildwood Crest have received a new Rate and Fee Schedule submitted by the Recreation Commission pursuant to their authority as stated in Chapter 56-3, and
WHEREAS, the Borough Commissioners have reviewed the Rates and Fees Schedule submitted by the Recreation Commission and approved by the Supervisor of Recreation and are desirous of approving the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, County of Cape May, New Jersey, as follows:
Section 1. Ordinance
1472, adopted December 3, 2025, that has been codified in the Code of the
Borough of Wildwood Crest as Chapter 56, is hereby amended and supplemented as
follows and the attached Rates and Fees Schedule pursuant to Section 56-3(C) of
Chapter 56, Recreation Commission, of the Borough Code of the Borough of
Wildwood Crest is hereby amended as follows (added language is underlined,
deleted language is stricken):
See attached Fee Schedule.
Section 2. The remainder of all other sections and subsections of the aforementioned ordinance not specifically amended by this Ordinance shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 3. All other ordinances in conflict with or inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
Section 4. If any portion of this ordinance is adjudged unconstitutional or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such judgment shall not affect or invalidate the remainder of this ordinance, but shall be confined in its effect to the provision directly involved in the controversy in which such judgment shall have been rendered.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective twenty (20) days after final passage and advertisement thereof as required by law.
