PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 6:00 pm, a hearing will be held before the Wildwood Planning and Zoning Board, located at 4400 New Jersey Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260, to consider an application for Minor Site Plan Approval pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-46 and Bulk Variance Relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c), on the premises located at 4020 Ocean Avenue, Wildwood, New Jersey 08260.
The applicant seeks minor site plan approval to permit retroactive approval of an existing 13′ x 20′ storage shed and the installation of a 6′ x 10′ walk-in freezer as accessory improvements to an existing restaurant use.
In connection with the foregoing, the Applicant requests bulk variance (“C” variance) relief from Section 17-608.B.2 of the Wildwood City Ordinance, which requires a minimum two-way drive aisle width of twenty-four (24) feet, whereas a drive aisle width of approximately seventeen and seven-tenths (17.7) feet is proposed to accommodate the existing storage shed for which retroactive approval is sought.
The proposed application involves no expansion of the principal use and no increase in seating or occupancy and is intended to support the ongoing operation of the existing restaurant.
The Applicant also requests any and all other variances, waivers, or relief that may be deemed necessary by the Board in connection with this application.
Maps and other documents relating to this matter shall be available at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting date for inspection. The maps and documents relating to this application shall be available for public inspection at the Wildwood City Hall during normal business hours.
All parties to the hearing, including the public, must, no less than two days in advance of the meeting, provide the Board Secretary any additional documents or exhibits to be presented at the hearing. These additional documents and exhibits shall be individually labeled by the submitting party as an exhibit and the Board shall post the labeled exhibits prior to the meeting.
