PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons that a public hearing was held on April 15, 2026 meeting of the North Wildwood Planning Board at which a hearing the following application(s) was heard & the following action(s) taken:
RE: Island Acquisitions. LLC
221 East 26th Avenue
Block: 226, Lot: 10
R-1 Zoning District
The application submitted by Island Acquisitions. LLC seeks minor subdivision approval & “C” bulk variance relief to construct two (2) a single-family dwelling(s) at the property located at 221 East 26th Avenue, also known as Block 226, Lot 10, in the R-1 Zoning District. The property is currently vacant land.
The North Wildwood Planning Board conducted a regularly scheduled public meeting on April 15, 2026 to hear the above referenced application. The North Wildwood Planning Board has determined that the relief requested by the Applicant cannot be granted without substantial detriment to the public good & without substantially impairing the intent or purpose of the Zoning Map & Land Development Ordinance. The application was DENIED by the Planning Board. Resolution(s) memorializing the Board’s action was adopted at the May 20, 2026 scheduled meeting. Upon memorialization, said decision will be on file & available for inspection in City Hall at 901 Atlantic Ave., North Wildwood, NJ.
