RESOLUTION
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 163-4-22 TO INCREASE CONTRACT WITH AFA PROTECTIVE SYSTEMS, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood (the “City”) by the way of Resolution #163-4-22 on April 13th, 2022 awarded a contract for Five (5) year service contract for fire alarm monitoring and fire inspection services for the Public Works Facilities, Municipal Court Building and Byrne Community Center in the amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand and Seventy-Five ($16,075.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, The Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood (the “Board”) seeks to amend to increase the contract with AFA Protective Systems, Inc. by Four Hundred Eighty ($480.00) Dollars and they will provide fire alarm monitoring for Municipal Building for an amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty-Five ($16,555.00) Dollars; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wildwood’s Chief Financial Officer has certified the availability of funds for the aforementioned services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Wildwood, County of Cape May, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The Contract shall be issued to state that AFA Protective Systems Inc. will provide Fire Alarm Monitoring for an amount not to exceed Sisteen Thousand Five Hundred and Fifty-Five ($16,555.00) Dollars; and
2. The Mayor, Administrator and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to take such further action or actions as may be necessary or reasonable required to carry out the intent and purpose of this Resolution.
3. This Resolution and the contract shall remain on file in the City Clerk’s office and available for public inspection.
