ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
PUBLIC NOTICE
Please be advised that the undersigned has applied to the Cape May Zoning Board of Adjustment seeking variance relief for property located at 1 & 2 Roseman’s Lane (Block 1061, Lots 111 & 112), City of Cape May, New Jersey. The lot is currently developed with a single-family detached dwelling and a semi-detached dwelling. The Applicant proposes to renovate the single-family detached dwelling including expanding the second floor and adding a screened rear porch. No change is proposed to the semi-detached dwelling. Variance relief is sought to permit expansion of the nonconforming use and for relief from front yard setback, side yard setback, and lot coverage requirements. Existing nonconformities relating to lot size, lot width, and lot frontage will remain. The Applicant may request additional variances and/or waivers identified by the Board and its professionals.
The Zoning Board will hold a public hearing on this application on February 26, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., at the Cape May City Hall Auditorium, 643 Washington Street, Cape May, New Jersey. All documents pertaining to this application will be on file with the Zoning Board Secretary in Cape May City Hall (643 Washington Street) at least 10 days prior to the hearing and will be available for public review during regular business hours (M-F 7:30 AM 3:30 PM).
