PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on the 9th day of April, 2026, at 6:00 PM, prevailing time, at the Middle Township Municipal Building, located at 33 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, New Jersey 08210, the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a hearing on the application of the undersigned for an amendment to the previously approved amended preliminary and final major site plan approval related to the marina located on Block 313, Lot 122 in Middle Township, Cape May County, New Jersey, which approval was granted on January 8, 2026 and memorialized by Resolution No. 252329 adopted February 12, 2026 by the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.  Resolution No. 252329 granted the Applicant’s request for amended preliminary and final major site plan approval and bulk variance relief pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70(c), and other ancillary relief in order to permit minor site modifications to the previously approved marina in connection with the reduction of the total number of approved slips from eighteen (18) to fifteen (15), to utilize five (5) boat slips for houseboats, to modify the previously approved boat slip layout, to relocate an existing freestanding sign, to relocate an existing trash enclosure, parking adjustments, utilities, and other site modifications.

 

With the present application, the Applicant seeks amended preliminary and final major site plan approval to modify the previously approved marina site plan to permit the placement of a marina support vessel within one of the ten (10) existing conventional marina boat slips.  The proposed support vessel will function as an ancillary marina amenity and will contain a small ship’s store, employee area, and a restroom facility for marina patrons and staff.  No changes are proposed to the five (5) previously approved houseboat slips.

 

A copy of the said application and accompanying documents will be on file with the Secretary of the Middle Township Planning Board/Zoning Office and may be inspected, during normal business hours, in the Middle Township Zoning Office, Middle Township Municipal Building, 33 Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, New Jersey, by all interested parties at least ten (10) days prior to the said hearing.  Further, any interested party may appear in person or by attorney at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Middle Township Zoning Board of Adjustment.  This Notice is sent pursuant to the requirements of the Municipal Land Use Law.
