PUBLIC NOTICE OF NJDEP PERMIT APPLICATION

 

Take notice that an application for authorization under Coastal General Permit #2 will be submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Land Resource Protection for the project described below:

 

APPLICANT:                                  Borough of Cape May Point

PROJECT NAME:                          Beach Maintenance Program

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:           Performance of routine beach maintenance activities including beach raking, emergency post-storm restoration dune creation and maintenance, and construction/reconstruction of boardwalks

PROJECT STREET ADDRESS:     Public Beach within Borough of Cape May Point

BLOCK: LOT:                                  Block 52, Lot 1

MUNICIPALITY, COUNTY:             Borough of Cape May Point, Cape May County

 

The complete permit application package can be reviewed at the Borough of Cape May Point municipal clerk’s office, or by appointment at the Department’s Trenton Office. The Department of Environmental Protection welcomes comments and any information that you may provide concerning the proposed project and site. Please submit your written comments within 15 calendar days of receiving this letter:
