Take notice that an application for an application for a Waterfront Development Permit/CAFRA Permit has been submitted to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP), Division of Land Resource Protection for the development described below:

PROJECT NAME: North Wildwood Emergency Dredging and Beach Nourishment Project
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: On May 3, 2024, NJDOT submitted an emergency authorization request to undertake emergency dredging and beach nourishment at North Wildwood Beach. On May 16, 2024 NJDEP Watershed and Land Management Program issued the emergency permit authorization and water quality certificate, citing that an emergency exists pursuant to N.J.A.C 7:7-21.1. Activities were completed in July 2024. Activities described in this CAFRA/Freshwater GP 6 Permit application, and requested to be authorized under this permit, are the same activities described and completed under NJDEP Emergency Authorization 0507-03-0009.9 for the same work.
