NOTICE OF PENDING BOND ORDINANCE No. 1489 AND SUMMARY
The bond ordinance, the summary terms of which are included herein, was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the governing body of the Borough of Wildwood Crest, in the County of Cape May, New Jersey, on May 6, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after public hearing thereon, at a meeting of the governing body to be held at the Municipal Building in said Borough on May 20, 2026 at 5:00 o’clock P.M. During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours at the Clerk’s office in said Municipal Building for the members of the general public who shall request the same. The summary of the terms of such bond ordinance follows:

Purpose(s): |
Improvement of various streets and locations in and by the Borough including, without limitation, East Stockton Road and Denver Avenue, by the construction or reconstruction therein of a roadway pavement. Improvement of municipally-owned facilities and properties in and by the Borough including, without limitation, the Fishing Pier by the full scale renovation of the pilings and decking and the construction of an extension into the ocean and including also other municipal facilities including Centennial Park. Acquisition by purchase of new and additional vehicular equipment including, without limitation, one (1) beach tractor with rack for use by the Department of Public Works of the Borough. |
